History Verbal Arts started out as North Staffordshire based group of performance poets, musicians, writers’ dancers and artists that work in the community. Formed in July, 2000, its artists went on to work with many organisations including: BBC Radio, Comic Relief, Stephen Lawrence Report Conference, Sunday In The Park, Mental Health Day, Sanity Fair, Art of Gold, Valuing Diversity (Social Service Code of Conduct Launch), Youth Music Action Zone, Connexions, Youth Up Front, Continuing Education, Operation Bubble Bee (New Vic Borderlines) and other grassroots projects.
